Problem Based Learning Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas XI SMA PGRI 4 Jakarta tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain posttest-only control design. Sampel terdiri dari kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan PBL dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penggunaan metode PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Dengan demikian, metode PBL efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik.
